On 21stSeptember 2024, BRS participated in the CBSE Yoga Competition held at Sunrise International School, Abu Dhabi. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of students in the field of yoga. Our school was represented by 5 Student participants ( Under-17Girls) who demonstrated exceptional skills in various yoga forms. The students trained rigorously for weeks leading up to the competition, emphasizing discipline and focus.
We are proud to announce that Sarah Khalil Amjath Hussain, a student from 9H, won the gold medal in her category, qualifying for the national level competition. Her flawless performance and deep understanding of the poses impressed the judges and set a benchmark for excellence. All participants from our school performed admirably, displaying their hard work and commitment. Each student contributed to the overall spirit of the competition, promoting unity and sportsmanship among the participants.
Our students received guidance from the PE teacher Samiksha, who played a pivotal role in their preparation. Regular practice sessions and workshops were conducted, which not only honed their skills but also instilled confidence in them.
The CBSE Yoga Competition was a remarkable experience for our school, emphasizing the importance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being.
