School Policies

1Student Dress Code Guidelines

    1. Uniform Standards
  • Students are required to wear a properly fitting uniform that is neat, clean, and well-maintained at all times. Uniforms should be pressed and free from stains, tears, or excessive wear, ensuring a professional and respectful appearance in line with the school’s standards.


  • 2. Accessories and Grooming
  • Students are not permitted to wear fancy wristwatches, hair clips, jewelry, nail polish, anklets, or henna.


  • 3. Footwear
  • Black closed shoes on regular uniform.White trainers for sports uniform.


  • 4. Birthday Dress Code
  • Students who wish to wear colored/civil clothes on their birthdays must dress neatly in simple, modest attire that respects the cultural values of the UAE.


  • 5. Socks and Stockings (Grades 1-4)
  • Girls in Grades 1 to 4 are required to wear only white-colored socks or stockings.


  • 6. Scarves
  • Girls who wear scarves must adhere to the rule of wearing black-colored scarves only.


  • 7. School Bags
  • Avoid carrying flashy or overly decorated school bags. Simple, practical bags are encouraged.


  • 8. Uniform for Grades 5 to 12
  • Students in Grades 5 to 12 must wear their blazers along with their regular uniforms.


  • 9. Winter Attire
  • Students in Grades 5 to 12 are permitted to wear the school-provided winter jacket only with their sports uniform.


  • 10. Prohibited Items
  • Students are strictly prohibited from bringing electronic devices, including mobile phones. If found, these items will be confiscated immediately.


  • These guidelines are in place to maintain a respectful and orderly environment in accordance with the school's values.


2School Code

Students are expected to be on time to school everyday. Regular attendance and punctuality to school is emphasized on.

Students are expected to come in clean and neatly pressed school uniform.

  • All students are expected to wear the school ID card every day.

  • Care should be taken of the school property. Students are liable to make good all the damages they cause to school property.

  • Use of abusive language and misbehavior with classmates / schoolmates will call for strict disciplinary action.

  • Students are discouraged from offering presents to their teachers except those sanctioned by the Principal.

  • Students are not allowed to receive visitors in school. They are not allowed to make or attend to phone calls unless the school deems it necessary.

  • Aggressive behavior / use of physical violence like pushing, kicking, hitting etc is prohibited.

  • Students are not allowed to indulge in any kind of unfair means during assessments.

  • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the school for students. Students using the mobile phones will ve accountable for the consequences and the phone will be confiscated.

  • Students are prohibited from bringing cameras, CD’s, I pads, slam books, picture magazines, comics & video tapes.

  • Students cannot change their clothes or shoes without specific permission from the class teacher .

3Attendance / Leave General Guidelines

  • Students are expected to put in 95% of attendance.

  • Any leave of absence from the school needs to be submitted to the Principal in writing, indicating the section of the child and the reason for the leave of absence.

  • The student must also present a leave note from parents when she/he returns to the school. Medical certificates must always be produced for illness exceeding three days.

  • Students will not be exempted from PE or games unless and until a valid doctor’s certificate accompanied by the parents appeal is submitted to and approved by the Principal.

  • During school hours, if a student needs to leave the school campus, she/ he must procure a written note from the Principal and the class teacher. No student is allowed to leave the school premises unless accompanied by the parent / guardian.

  • Students should abide by the holidays as granted by the school and not prolong vacations and holidays without urgent need. Attendance on the opening day and closing day of every term is compulsory.

  • Students name will be stuck off the rolls for any unaccounted absence from school.

  • Leave application for serious sickness or any other crucial need must reach the school office prior to the opening day.

  • Any correspondence with the school should be addressed to the Principal.

  • The full name of the child along with the class, section and GR no. should be included in the letters.

4Social Media Policy, Bright Riders School

Schools are an integral part of the society; Social-Media is an excellent way to connect with it.


    General Guidelines
  • At Bright Riders School appropriate use of social media is encouraged.

  • Whether through social media or other forms of public speaking, you may not represent that you are speaking on behalf of BRIGHT RIDERS SCHOOL unless you are authorized to do so by Bright Riders School Management.

  • If you engage in social media, you are expected to protect the brand of Bright Riders School always and adhere to the school’s key social principles of being responsible and respectful.

  • Through Social Media or through any other forms of public speaking you must refrain from any unauthorized disclosure of information or data belonging to the school or to its stakeholders.

  • Employees as well as Students are not permitted to open social media accounts and pages using Bright Riders School’s business email address.

  • Any personal or other social media accounts/Pages other than the School’s official account are not allowed to leverage school’s logo or trademarks unless they are officially authorized to do so.

  • Permission can be obtained through DM to the official account if necessary.


  • Digital Footprint
  • You are personally responsible for the content you publish on the Social Media or any other user generated media platforms.

  • Remember that the Internet never ‘forgets’.


  • PR Crises
  • Any post or Comment that is factually untrue or incorrect or only half-true or is a biased opinion slandering the school must be immediately reported and be brought to the attention of management or Senior leadership through DM on the official account or phone-call or message.

  • Direct intervention by employees or students is not encouraged unless authorized by the management or senior leadership.


  • Responsible communication regarding UAE
  • Bright Riders School holds utmost respect towards UAE’s leaders, laws, policies, programs and governing bodies .Our social media accounts and pages will emulate the same sentiment.

  • We expect our employees and students to fully understand the consequences of any kind of social media abuse.


  • Cyber Bullying
  • Bullying on the social media platforms, offensive comments, threats, propagating defamatory gossips will not be tolerated.

  • Immediate disciplinary action will be taken after careful review of the subject matter.
